woke up.
went to work.
came home.
went to the gym.
came home.
watched gran torino and had dinner.
it was really good!
chilled.
sleep
omg.
so freaking weird.
so tonight going into tomorrow will be the one year anniversary of my aunts death.
she passed away on the 9th. but it was at like 2am, so you know..8/9
so im reading past journal entries. i only go back three years.
and last year was obviously hospital stuff.
and the year before that the whole fam was here just for fun.
and the year before that the whole fam was here just for fun too.
so im thinking how its interesting that weve been together at the same time every year for the past 4 years. i say 4 because everyone is coming this weekend, and it very well may be 5 or 6 if i go back far enough.
but thats not the weird part.
3 years ago.
nahal and i are driving home.
i didnt write this down, but i remember it by reading what we did that day.
and i remember her saying on the way home how she thought for some reason her mom would die first.
i dont remember her saying "die soon" but it was something along the lines of being the first to go.
i dont exactly know why she said it.
but i remember at that time, khaleh shahla was using a cane cuz her knee was bad (which is why she was here the next year to have surgery on it).
so maybe seeing her mom with a cane made her think something like that.
i dont know.
but its so weird to find out that it was 2 years to the day that she died that she said that.
oh fortune!

its times like this i really want to be a teacher.
i mean, thinking about going to work m-f, 8-5 for the rest of my life is driving me crazy.
i know this sounds lazy, but i NEED to win the lottery.
i dont know if i can work, just for the fact of making money.
i need to have money, and dedicate myself to work i REALLY want to do.
i mean, i can take steps to doing what i really want to do.
but i dont even know what that is.
whatever, if i keep talking, ill go on forever.
vegas in a little over a month.

woke up.

and headed to irvine for a mini ciudad reunion!!!
it was so nice.
it was at ra daniels house.
and all the ppl i would want to be there were. so it was good.
we bbq'ed. drank. laughed. fun!
left there at about 10.
went to michaels.
then him, me and adam went to the bars.
good night.
adam is crazy.
Fri July 3rd
woke up.
and ppl were telling me to go to the beach.
so after much debate.
i said sure.
got ready.
and headed to malibu.
omg. it took me like 2.5 hours!!!
traffic was ridic.
esp all over santa monica.
so we didnt even get to the beach we were supposed to.
we went to this other one in malibu.
it was nice.
they had a bar.
so i was good.
slol.
so we let at around 5.
and i went to anthonys.
hung out with him and danny a bit.
then i headed to hollywood.
met up with theresia, thomas and thomas' friend andrea at the roosevelt.
ugh.
so nice.
so we chilled.
got ready.
lu joined.
pre gamed.
then we headed to the bar/club in the hotel.
so nice just walking in when there is a line.
holler.
such a good time!
the ambience, the ppl, the company.
amazing.
then we walked the streets.
had some mels.
i was insane.

Sat July 4th
woke up.
and we left.
i went straight to anthonys.
i was gonna help him set up and clean for the party.
got there at like 1230.
he told ppl 2.
and the place was a MESSSSSS!!
his new roommate just moved in, so there was shit and boxes and furniture everwhere!
and of all things they were all doing laundry!!!!
who does laundry when you have ppl coming over in an hour!!!
so i started to clean.
and then anthony eventually came back.
and we got it done.
at 230.
luckily the first guest arrived at 245.
haha.
great party.
got really drunk.
bbq'ed.
good times.
it was like in waves of 3.
there was the first party.
the middle party.
and the last party.
it was good though.
so now were all getting ready for the night party.
and im getting dressed.
and somoene, lets say his name is sam, says i dont like his shirt.
talking about my shirt as im walking away.
and just loud enough so i can hear it.
so im like what did you say??
and hes like i.dont.like.your shirt.
and its like, he was serious, and saying it in a really mean way.
and i know this guy. weve always been so friendly and nice with each other.
so i dont know why he was being so pissy!
and then he was being rude to michael.
and it was just unnecessary.
so whatever.
pissed me off.
so we leave and get to robbies.
and it was just a little awkward at first.
we were the only ones there.
and robbie wasnt feeling well.
there was no music.
no drinks or snacks really.
we were just sitting around.
then anthonys car comes with sam and all them.
and it just gets even more awkward cuz of all the previous stuff.
and sam is saying he wants to leave and go to fiesta.
kinda rude.
so then this guy, sean shows up.
and ive always been nice to sean.
saying hi.
whats up.
making convo.
but sean is always really weird with me.
i dont know why.
but whatever.
so i see sean at the door.
and i open it and im like heyyyy sean and i go to give him a hug.
"patricks not here yet???"
um...ok? hi?
so that pissed me off.
its like wtf!
and then i was pissed off b/c no one invited me to go see the fireworks with them.
but thats not a big deal.
ben did tell me about them at the first party. but it was already too late to do anything about it.
i wish the ppl i considered my really good friends in the group would have taken initiative to tell me.
but again, that wasnt a big deal.
it just ADDED to all the anger i already had.
so then finally patrick and erik and them all get there.
and they were kinda the links between the ppl already there.
and the the house.
so thats why it was a little awkward.
so were all having a good time.
im still pissed off.
but im trying not to let it get to me too much.
so its the end of the night, and skylar and chris really want to go home.
for the past hour theyve been saying how tired they are and that they want to go home.
but for some unknown reason, they cant go up to their friend steve (who drove them) and say hey, can we head out soon.
so then at the end of the night, i eventually snapped.
and yelled, steve! skylar and chris want to leave! you gotta go.
and then the party went a little silent.
and everyone went crazy on me!
slol!
rude! how could you! omg!!!
to which i apologized.
i said it was wrong.
i shouldnt have done it.
which i shouldnt have.
i should have stayed out.
and if i wanted to help, i could have been a lot more tactful.
but i was angry.
and i was tired of hearing these two complain.
so i went crazy.
again, i apologized.
and even steve was like, no babak.
im so glad you said something.
bc i probably would have never known!
and then skylar and chris were all butt hurt.
as if i had commited the most heinous crime they had ever seen.
its not like i yelled: steve!!!! skylar and chris both slept with your boyfriend! or they think you are a nigger horrible person!
i just said they wanted to go home.
again, not justifying what i did. but really, its not that big of a deal.
steves your friend, he understands. steve above all ppl understands.
if i was steve, i might have been pissed.
but steve is so easy going and chill.
anyway!
so on the way to the cars i tried apologizing to skylar and chris.
trying to make nice.
but neither was having it.
and they pushed me away.
which really pissed me off. and hurt my feelings.
i know i may have done something i shouldnt have done.
but ive apologized profusely, i have shown humility, what more do you want from me?
so whatever.
mehul took michael and i back to my car at anthonys.
then michael and i came home.
all things considered, it was still a good weekend.
and it aint even over yet!

woke up at 645.
ugh.
got ready.
headed out by 715.
got there at 830.
15 miles. 45 min.
blah.
had my first day.
it went really well.
i love the 2 ppl i work with haha.
but we'll see if i actually LIKE it.
its not EXACTLY what i want to be doing.
but the experience will still help.
so i get out at 5.
and i think im a genius.
and decide that work days will be gym days.
there is a ballys right in old town (which is right by work).
i get to work out.
wait for traffic to die down.
its a good deal.
so ballys has no free parking.
i find somewhere on the street.
i start to dress in my car.
and then i realize i dont have shoes.
ugh i was so pissed.
so i had to leave to go home.
and i was looking at traffic: it was red the whollleee way home.
so i took the streets.
and i think it was a good decision.
i got home at like 615 i think.
but that included the ballys drama.
and stopping and eating really quick at taco bell.
so if getting there was 45, and that was all yellow.
then i think i made a good choice!
so i get home.
and take a nap.
best nap of my life.
it was a deep sleep.
my alarm rang at 8.
and i was SOOOOOO confused!!!!
i honestly thought it was the next morning.
thats how deep a sleep it was.
but even when i woke up, it felt like i didnt get to sleep a long time.
weird, i know.
but it was also confusing bc of the light outside.
it wasnt dark yet.
it looked like it was 6 am or something.
which is around when i would wake up.
so it wasnt until i saw it was 8 and that i was late for work that i realized it was pm.
i was so happy.
slol.
watched some tv.
hung with the fam.
good times.
so whats going on 4th of july????
i may go to sb with michael to visit pretty.
but i kinda want to stay local.
and there is going to be SO much traffic up there.
what i REALLY want.
is someone with a house to have a day party.
bbq. pool. all that.
but i dont know anyone doing that.
maybe anthony.
but thats iffy.
so i was talking to dip about how fun my 4th of july was when i went to the roosevelt.
and we thought of maybe getting a hotel.

Mon June 29th
woke up.
ate.

and headed to disney for dips bday.
vicky came too.
so we were there the whole day.
it was nice to be back.
the new fireworks show is good.
but no where nearly as good as the last one.
i start my internship tomorrow.
i talked to her, and said i only want to work 3 days a week.
so i think t/w/th are going to be the days.

Fri June 26th
woke up early cuz ppl were abuzz.
chilled with the fam.
they left for vegas at about 2.
and i started getting things ready for the party.
cleaned.
got alcohol.
made cds

party got underway.
and it was so much fun!
perfect amount of ppl.
lots of booze.
i was a perfect out of line drunk.
i had a good time.
and everyone else seemed to have too!
the last wave of ppl left at abotu 330.
Sat June 27th
woke up.
theresia, shuddaz, lush and i chilled.
then i took lush home.
i dont know if i was still drunk.
or just was so tired/had a huge headache.
but i was driving crazy.

got home.
michael, adam came over.
theresia was still here.
and we went to cpk.
i could barely eat my food.
see... whenever i take tylenol before i sleep the night i drink, im fine.
but we were all out.
blah.
so i had a headache the whole day.

really good.

watched happy go lucky.

then we watched hamlet 2.

and the main thing was that i shaved.
if you dont know, shaving two days in a row is KILLER!
so i wanted to be nice and clean for her.
but now i cant.

if she had just called an hour earlier.
anyway.
so i chilled around.
then met up with erik at the americana in glendale.
its pretty much exactly like the grove (is the same ppl who make it).
we shopped around.
patrick, guy and jonathan met up with us.
we ate at this really good restauraunt, dont remember the name.
like everything on the menu (esp the sandwiches) looked sooooo good.
the food was great.
the drinks were great.
the soup was bomb.
good place.
then after we went to the cupcake place.
and had bomb cupcakes.
after about 2 bites i felt SOOO BLOATED.
ugh.
then i came home.

woke up.

we had lunch.

got coldstone.
theresia and michael came over.
and we headed to irvine for the protest.
dipika met us there.
it was a lot of fun.
and im so glad i went.
it was nice to show support.
and be a part of something.
what made it even more special was that my friends were with me.
i really appreciated it, and it made me love them even more if possible.
and it was cool cuz you could tell other ppl appreciated them too.
since they are not persian, i would hear a lot of people say "thank you for coming out."
it was nice.
then went came home.
and all dispersed.
i was sooooo tired.
but we decided to go out.
so we get ready.
then t, michael, dip and i head out to la.
all of the places we want to go we cant.
so we went to weho.
but we still had fun.
christin davis met up with us.
at the end of the night we made some friends that were having an after party.
theresia didnt want to go. dip and i wanted to go but didnt care. and michael wanted to go.
so theresia drops us off at the place.
and we go to the party.
and the guy was gonna take us home in the morn.
so were there for a little bit.
then michael decides he wants to leave.
so he calls christin.
and she drives from here house on the west side to get us in studio city to take us back to her place.
we get some del.

Thurs June 18th
woke up.
christin brought us home.
it was 1230.
pat asked if i wanted to go to the beach.
after debates with myself i said sure.
so i got ready.
had a little lunch.
and headed to laguna.
got there at about 230.
it was patrick, guy and jonathon.
we lay out.
play.
all that stuff.
randomly matt and them show up.
so we all hang out.
then random guys trying to be friends with us.
play some volleyball.
finally!!!
it was so fun.
then we leave at about 7.
have dinner at rubys.
then go to joses house in anaheim.
we play in the pool and jacuzzi till about midnight.
then i come home.

woke up.
i literally laid in bed all day.
the only time i got up was to eat lunch.
at 4 michael and theresia picked me up.
we walked downtown.
and they ate at t phillips.
then we came to my house.

michael and i were deciding what to do.
and both of us were in the same boat of indifference.
like, i could have stayed home and did nothing.
i could have hung out.
watched a movie.
gone to a club.
or went to vegas.
but no one cared.
and we were waiting for the other to make a decision.
so then my friend says to come to this club/lounge place in fullerton.
so the decision was made.
got ready.
michael picked me up.
we picked up t.
then went to diamond bar.
my friend karim drove us to fullerton.
it was kind of dead.
but still fun.

Tues June 16th
woke up.
michael and t came over and we did the mel b work out video.
intense.
then i got ready.
went to the doctors.

we ran some errends getting things for our protest tomorrow.
back to my house.

then back to my house to watch this stupid movie.

it was bullshit the way it was set up.
i failed.
then the typing test.
then i went to another place in norwalk and dropped off my resume/application.

dads friends from college started to come over.
they were vulgar, funny, and just like us.
drank some with them.
got ready.
headed to pasadena.
picked up my computer.
then went to bens.
pat, guy, david, michael and alex were all there.
we chilled.
and played a different version of cranium.
david left.
we talked.
then watched now and then.
during the cemetary scene we decided to go to the gravity hill in sylmar.
its up this dark ass windy road. and its right next to a cemetary that the KKK meets at and gangs initiate members.

and we went to jenels grad.
